How Taskenator Works for Clients

Taskenator is a site where you will have access to a diverse freelance labor workforce with over 3 million professionals to choose from. With no contract or monthly subscription, it’s an easy-to-use platform for business owners to hire Taskers and get their To-Do tasks finished quickly without going through the hassle of hiring a full-time staff.

When you sign up as a client on Taskenator, you gain access to diverse individuals with different profiles and skills that matches your requirements to complete a project you want quickly and professionally done. How Does Taskenator Work?

It’s simple; you create a Client Profile to showcase your company, skills you require, experience, and talents. Then, there are two ways for you to access :

You can post projects and receive proposals from Taskers interested to take on the task you advertised on the platform. You do this by clicking on the Post task button. Input the details of the project (i.e, Task Description, Skill Requirements, Estimated Budget & Time, etc.) to inform the Taskers of what the project is all about. If the Tasker wants to take on the project, they will let you know by submitting proposals.

Find a Tasker option gives you access to various Tasker Profiles and contact them directly.


Sign Up to Taskenator

The first thing you need to do to be able to use the Taskenator platform is to sign up and become a Client. Click on the Sign Up tab, which is at the top of the website.

Alternatively, you can go into the area of specialty in which you will be needing a Tasker for and use the form at the bottom of the page to sign up. Each specialty page gives you some details of Freelancer titles in that area. So, for example, if you are interested in hiring a Back-end Developer, click on Website, IT & Software. There is some information here to tell you what is involved in the work of a Back-end developer so you can decide whether this is the specialty of the freelancer you are looking for. If you feel it is, scroll down the page and sign up using the form.

Fill out the form as a Client, read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click on Sign Up.

Complete Your Profile.

You need to create a Profile so Taskers can learn more about you and your business, how long you have been a member of Taskenator, which area of the world you live in and your previous experiences as a Client on Taskenator.

In My Profile, click on Upload Photo to choose a recent photo of yourself. Remember to keep it professional; a head and shoulders shot or company logo is usually best.

Fill out the fields as required.

Write a clear, concise summary of your background, company and its nature, and other information you wish to share with freelancers.

Select Specific Skills Required by scrolling through the list, or entering the first letter. For example, typing the letter 'a' will bring up Academic Writing, Account Management, Accounting, and so on.

Fields marked with a * are mandatory.

Click on Finish, and your Profile is created!

You will receive a welcome email from us. When you do, you will need to click on the link to confirm your account.

Edit Profile

You can click on Edit Profile at any time to add more information about yourself, such as your social media accounts, including LinkedIn. You can also add details such as education, certificates, and more. The more information you add, the stronger your profile will be. The Profile Summary is an indicator of how complete your profile is.

Post a Task

Now you can start posting a Task.

Click on Post Task at the top.

Input the details of the task you wish to be done (i.e, category, task summary & description, specific skills required, estimated budget & timeframe, etc).

You can select on the Category dropdown list the specific category in which you require the tasker. If, for example, you need a tasker specialized in Accounting, click on Business, Accounting, Human Resource & Legal.

The Sub Category dropdown list contains all general skill under the chosen Category. For example, under Business, Accounting, Human Resources & Legal, contains Account Management, Accounting, Audit, Business Analysis, etc.

Task Summary field will be the headline for your posted project.

Then on the Task Description, input what the task is for and outline of your requirements.

The Specify Skill Requirements field has a dropdown where you can click skills that best describes your task. This will help taskers identify if they possess the same skills needed for the project you are posting.

Also, input the Estimated Budget in USD & Estimated Time to give freelancers an estimation of your budget and time required to finish the task.

If you wish to hire a freelancer from a specific country, you may do so by clicking Preferred Country and you may also specify the State/County where the task will be open.

You can have your task posted and open for proposals for a week or more in the Bidding End Date section.

You can also have some file Attachment relating to the project.

Tick the box to confirm you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy and Cookie Policy after reading them

Click on Post My Task.

Your task is now posted and you will receive a notification via email once a Tasker submits a proposal. You can select from the proposals and award it to the freelancer you think best fits your qualification. The more tasks you post and award, the more Reviews you get and the more likely you are to attract freelancers for future task postings. You can always choose to work again with freelancers whom you’ve been happy to collaborate with.

Find a Tasker

Now you can start looking for Taskers.

Click on the Find Tasker menu at the top and Find a Tasker from the drop-down menu.

You can filter and narrow down your search by inputting Keywords/Skills you are looking for and which City you wish a Tasker is located in.

You can also click on the Category in which the Tasker has skills to shorten your list.

There is also an option where you may specify if you want to find Taskers with more Ratings and reviews.

Click Go. Taskers with skills you required will then be displayed. If you wish to view all information (i.e, education, skills, experience, ratings, certificates, etc.) of the Tasker, you may do so by clicking their profile.

You can invite Taskers with your posted project by going through their profile and clicking Invite Tasker.

Select the task you wish to invite the Tasker for, then click Invite.

The Tasker will be notified through email that you invited them for a task. You will also get notified if the Tasker accepts or declines your invitation.

You may start collaborating with the Tasker once the project is awarded. The more tasks you post and award, the more Reviews you get and the more likely you are to attract Freelancers for future task postings. You can always choose to work again with Freelancers whom you’ve been happy to collaborate with.

How Does Taskenator Work?

It’s simple; you create a Profile to showcase your skills, experience, and talents. Then, there are three ways for you to access work:

You can bid for projects that are advertised on the platform. You do this by clicking on the Submit Proposal button to notify the client of what you will charge them to complete the task. If the client wants to take you up on your offer, they will let you know.

Customers can access your Profile and contact you directly.

Our sophisticated algorithms highlight projects for which you are a great fit, and we notify you by email. You can then submit a proposal.

Complete Your Profile

You need to create a Profile so customers can see what you do, your skills and experience, how long you have been a member of Taskenator, and what area of the world you live in.

Find a Task

Now you can start looking for work.

Click on the Menu icon at the top and choose Find Task from the drop-down menu.

You can Browse Tasks, or you can Browse Categories. If, for example, you want to find work in IT, once you are signed in, click on Browse Categories and then click on Website, IT and Software. All current jobs in Website, IT and Software will be displayed as well as the client’s budget.

If you find a Task you like, click on the job title to find out more.

Click on Bid on This Task if you are interested in working on the task.

Write your Cover Letter to the client.

Provide an Estimated Time to let the client know how much time you will need to complete the task. This will depend on the size of the project and your current workload.

Specify whether you want to be paid by project or milestone.

Enter your bid in American dollars.

Tick the box to confirm you agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy and Cookie Policy after reading them.

Click on Submit Proposal.

If the Task is awarded to you, you will receive a notification. Then you can start work. Make sure you stick to the deadline that you have agreed with the client. The more Tasks you complete, the more Reviews you get and the more likely you are to attract new clients. Clients that are happy with your work can choose to work with you again.
